Being a South African of Italian heritage has provided me with an insight into the world which many will not have enjoyed. Whilst I have over ten years experience in photography, I continue to maintain a simple but startlingly effective approach to my work. The techniques used are dependent very much upon the situation - from cutting edge to deep rooted passion and tradition - at all times in accordance with your wishes.

To photograph real life in all it's glorious and at times poignant situations, I hope separates my work from that of my peers. For me the passion is about capturing 'that' moment - the split second which epitomises the thought, emotion or event. As a photographer I feel my role is that of the eye which sees the individual as well as the group, the singular emotion as well as the celebration, the glance as well as the embrace.

To capture someone in their true relaxed and natural state captures the essence of that person. Therefore I prefer to work in the background, unobtrusively and sometimes unknowingly so that the images I gather have a genuine purity.
